At Music Competitions, we believe that talent should be recognized regardless of background or location. That's why our competition is open to all musicians, no matter their level of experience. The competition is divided into several categories designed to showcase the different skills and talents of participants. We also promote fairness and credibility in the competition process. Moreover, we ensure that our participants are kept up to date with the results by checking their email accounts for updates.

We are honored to announce the official launch of the Global Prestige Awards and the New York Prestige Awards Virtual Competitions — distinguished international platforms dedicated to celebrating exceptional musical artistry across all genres and disciplines. Open to musicians of all ages and at both professional and non-professional levels, the competitions welcome instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers from around the world. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your talent before an esteemed panel of international jurors and a global audience. Whether emerging or established, every participant will be recognized for their artistic commitment, technical mastery, and expressive excellence — with the opportunity to join a prestigious legacy of musical distinction on the world stage.
Eligibility
The Global Prestige Awards and New York Prestige Awards Virtual Competitions are open to:

All age groups – from young prodigies to seasoned professionals

All skill levels – including both professional and non-professional musicians

All musical disciplines – including instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers across classical, contemporary, and original genres
We welcome soloists, chamber ensembles, orchestral musicians, and composers with original works.

Submission Guidelines
1. Repertoire Requirements:

Submit one complete piece or movement that best represents your artistry

Concerto participants must submit one movement, with or without cadenza

Composers must submit a professionally formatted score (PDF) with an audio or video performance/realization
2.Video Recording:

All video submissions must be unedited and recorded in a single take

Accepted formats include YouTube, Vimeo, or other public/private video links
-
Ensure high-quality video and audio for optimal evaluation
3. Application Fee:

Jury Panel
Our distinguished jury is composed of internationally acclaimed musicians, educators, conductors, and composers who bring a wealth of expertise and global perspective to the evaluation process. Each submission is carefully reviewed for artistic integrity, technical command, and expressive depth.
The jury’s decisions are final and based on merit, regardless of age, background, or nationality.

Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated using the following core criteria:

Technical Proficiency – Accuracy, control, and mastery of the instrument or voice

Musical Interpretation – Style, phrasing, and depth of expression

Artistic Presence – Communication, stage presence, and emotional connection

Originality (for composers) – Creativity, structure, and thematic development
Honors are awarded based on performance quality, not in direct competition with others.

Q: Can I submit more than one piece?
A: Yes, but each piece must be submitted as a separate application with its own fee.
Q: Are scholarships or fee waivers available?
A: At this time, all applicants are required to pay the full application fee. However, we are working toward offering financial assistance in future editions.
Q: Do I need professional recording equipment?
A: No. While high-quality audio and video are encouraged, what matters most is the clarity of your performance. Smartphone recordings are accepted if the quality is sufficient.
Q: Will winners perform live?
A: Select top winners may be invited to participate in future live or virtual showcase events, including New York-based gala performances.
